An hour of conversation about a fascinating profession like engineering goes by quickly. Still, it is enough time to pique the curiosity of your students and get them interested.

Our volunteer engineers are proud ambassadors of their profession and visit secondary schools across Quebec to introduce their exciting profession to students.

They come to your school to talk about the profession from every angle:

• the different fields of engineering practice:
  mechanical, biomedical, civil, electrical, computer, agri-environmental, aerospace, chemical engineering… to name just a few.
• the academic path toward the profession
• the daily work of an engineer
• its impacts on the world and technological advances: Artificial intelligence, robotics and transportation electrification are just a few examples of how engineers contribute their expertise to our modern world.

These activities also include: videos, personal anecdotes and stimulating conversations with students that will make the experience more exciting and enriching.
