What you will actually do

As an aerospace engineer, you’ll design and test vehicles and systems that defy gravity.

  • Develop and lead computer simulations of aerospace vehicles, components, and systems.
  • Conduct laboratory tests using scale models to validate concepts such as stability and vehicle control.
  • Calculate structural stability, payload capacity, engine power, and flight trajectories.
  • Oversee the construction and testing of prototypes.
