What you will actually do

As an agro-environmental engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of technology, agriculture, and environmental protection.

Design machines to mechanize and automate agricultural work: seeding, planting, crop protection, harvesting, and handling.
Create drainage, irrigation, temperature and humidity control systems, and energy optimization systems.
Design systems and processes for handling, treating, preserving, and processing agricultural and food products.
Conduct quality control studies to assess how agricultural practices affect the environment.
