What you will actually do

As an automated production engineer, you’ll design and manage the systems that make factories more efficient and smarter.

Develop instrumentation, control, and automation systems for industrial manufacturing processes.
Supervise and manage all activities related to automated production.
Assess and adjust manufacturing needs based on the plant’s capacity, workforce, and available resources.
Develop a production program, including cost, time, and material estimates.
Plan inventory management, plant layout, and quality control standards.
